Springboard is an economic development organization for artists and by artists. Incorporated in 1991, Springboard has supported the arts community with education, resources and incubation services for more than 20 years.

Springboard’s mission is to cultivate a vibrant community by connecting artists with the skills, information, contacts, and services they need to make a living and a life. The organization builds reciprocal relationships between artists and the community so that artists are active, engaged, and valued for their vital contributions.

Springboard’s programs include Artists Access to Healthcare (AAH), the Artist Loan Fund, Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists workshop series, Legal Services and the Artists’ Resource Center. Springboard has experienced a recent period of huge growth and change and is now providing resources to artists in the 5-state Upper Midwest region.
