The artistic vision for the organization is to present innovative and life-changing fine and cultural arts that help create identity and connection, with a mission to preserve, perpetuate and celebrate Nordic cultures.

While the founding vision is to connect Scandinavian-Americans with their cultural roots through the arts, the organization also seeks to connect diverse peoples and cultures through programming, including serving as a role model to the Celtic Arts Festival, the Pangea Intercultural Arts, and the Mujeres Unidas Latina group.

ArtsLab Strategic Vision

Our work will develop robust learning networks and resources that support individual artists, artist-led organizations, state arts agencies, regional arts councils, and the capacity-building field locally and nationally. We will:

Increase the pool of mature and engaged leadership ready to meet the demands of the 21st century arts and culture sector;

Build the resilience and strengthen the presence and leadership of visionary arts organizations within their community and region;

Demonstrate the power of the arts to enhance community vitality and engagement.
